Europe

Atkin Chambers barristers frequently undertake work in matters relating to the UK’s European neighbours. As part of the European community, over a number of years, members have worked closely and forged strong bonds with both European law firms and clients throughout the region.

Outside the United Kingdom European legal disputes relate to shipbuilding, car production, rail projects, motorway construction, building of housing and retail developments and the construction of power stations. Members are regularly instructed in large and high-profile disputes including those concerning Euro Disney, the Gibraltar Airport redevelopment, the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, the Saffron Gas Fields, BP oil and gas projects in the North Sea, the Shakhtar New Stadium Project in Donetsk in Ukraine, the design and build of the new Istanbul railway, and the construction of Romanian motorways.
