International disputes make up a very significant proportion of members’ work at Atkin Chambers. Members are instructed by clients and about projects that are located across the UK and the globe.

As a result, members are experienced in interpreting and applying the laws of other countries, are accustomed to the rules of the main international arbitral institutions and are skilled at presenting their clients’ case to tribunals of all kinds.

Members accept instructions from UK or international law firms, and can also be engaged directly by foreign law firms or clients. Members are happy to find flexible ways to help their clients to draw on the expertise they need to achieve the best possible outcome in any matter or dispute. This includes acting as co-counsel with lawyers and collaborating with law firms throughout the world to provide advisory and advocacy services.
