In his article for Construction Week Zulfikar Khayum analyses the sorts of issues which can arise and which need to be considered when parties enter into exclusivity arrangements. The article arises out of the recent confirmation by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, that Dubai Parks and Resorts (DPR) would not seek to enforce an exclusivity arrangement in respect of a new Six Flags development in Dubai.
