The Hon James Allsop AC will be speaking at this annual full day seminar on ‘Tax and Equity’ for the Toongabbie Legal Centre, hosted by Baker McKenzie, on the 22nd March.
James will present on ‘Taxation and words: Meaning, Categorisation and Characterisation in Statutes and under the Commonwealth Constitution.’ James’s session will be chaired by Matthew Sealey, partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Toongabbie Legal Centre is a community legal centre located in Toongabbie in the heart of Western Sydney. TLC commenced its free legal services from 13 October 2007 and is in its sixteenth year of providing legal advice and assistance to vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
