With the average value of disputes at $82m, the Middle East heads the list. Despite this, with an average of 15.2 months, the time taken to resolve disputes beats the stated global average of 15.5. months. The article explores the factors which contribute to both the costs of dispute resolution in the region and the comparatively short timescale of their resolution.
