Stephanie Barwise QC features in The Lawyer Hot 100 2019

Stephanie Barwise QC is featured in this year’s The Lawyer Hot 100. The Lawyer Hot 100 2019 gathers together the “standout lawyers in the UK over the past year – the most daring, innovative and creative lawyers from in-house, private practice and the Bar”.

Amongst the first of her call year to take silk, Stephanie has consistently been recognised as a leader in her field in legal directories such as Chambers & Partners UK Bar Guide, Chambers Global, The Legal 500 and Legal Experts. She has a high-powered practice spanning the whole range of issues arising in construction and civil/ mechanical/geotechnical engineering work including infrastructure (including public private procurement /PFI) and energy – oil and gas to renewables.

Since May 2018 Stephanie Barwise QC has been representing a group of core participants (including survivors, bereaved relatives and former residents of Grenfell Tower) in The Grenfell Tower Public Inquiry. She was instructed because of her standing as a construction law expert and because of the criticality of building regulations and fire engineering as core issues under examination in this Inquiry.
