Pupillage Open Evening
Tuesday 2 November 2021: 5.30pm – 7pm.
This will be a virtual panel discussion followed by plenty of time to ask questions of a number of practising barristers at Atkin Chambers about life at the commercial and construction Bar and on applying for pupillage.
An aspiring barrister’s guide to construction law
Wednesday 1 December 2021: 5.30pm- 7pm.
This virtual presentation and discussion will aim to demystify construction law by highlighting some key cases which are likely to be found on many undergraduate and graduate reading lists, which are, in fact, pertinent to construction disputes.
This session will show that practice at a specialist set does not mean specialising in narrow areas of the law. On the contrary, practice at a construction set entails exposure to a broad range of legal concepts which might appeal to students who are enjoying a range of options.
Atkin Chambers is synonymous with disputes in construction, energy, infrastructure and technology disputes globally and members work on matters connected with some of the most cutting-edge projects domestically and globally from flagship public buildings to critical infrastructure projects resulting from the global effort to move to a low/no carbon future.
