Nicholas has appeared as sole and junior counsel in trials, adjudication and arbitration hearings, interim applications and costs and case management conferences. A large portion of Nicholas’ practice involves advising clients at the different stages of litigation, arbitration and mediation. He is regularly asked to advise on issues arising from the major standard form types of construction, engineering, infrastructure and PFI contracts and often works with bespoke contracts.

Before joining Atkin Chambers, Nicholas studied History at University College London (specialising in Early Modern Middle Eastern architectural history) where he graduated at the top of his year and he later went on to study private international law at the Hague Academy of International Law. He was awarded three major scholarships from Gray’s Inn to complete his law and bar studies at the City Law School in London.
