Professor Doug Jones AO spoke in two panel sessions at the 4th Biennial Society of Construction Law India’s International Conference in New Delhi, which took place between the 8th and 10th December.
In the first session, the panel discussed ‘Collaborative Contracting’ and Doug was joined by fellow panellists Justice Ravindra Bhatt, Ratan K.Singh, Rohit Singhal and Anil Changaroth. Doug’s slides can be read here. He also contributed a conference paper on disputes arising from government-funded infrastructure projects that contrasts the approaches taken in Australia and India. He also took part in a panel discussion in the conference’s fourth session on ‘The role of Experts in Construction Arbitration’.
