Professor Doug Jones AO and Professor Janet Walker CM will be speaking at numerous events in Hyderabad and Delhi this month.
On Sunday 20th August, in Hyderabad, they will take part in a conference on ‘Emerging Best Practices in the Use of Experts to Increase their Value Proposition in Arbitration’, jointly hosted by the Hyderabad International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (HIAMC) and FTI Consulting. The Chief Guest for the event is Hon’ble Mr Justice Alok Aradhe, Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court for the State of Telangana, and Doug and Janet will join a panel of distinguished speakers including Vincent Rowan of King & Spalding and Lee Baker of FTI Consulting. The session will be moderated by Karthik Balisagar.

Doug and Janet will also be presenting two masterclasses on arbitral advocacy at the Hyderabad International Arbitration and Mediation Centre on the evening of the 19th August.
On 22nd August, in Delhi, Doug and Janet will join a panel discussion on ‘Due Process Paranoia’ as part of the International Arbitration Dialogues held by the India International Arbitration Centre. They will be joined by Justices Vibhu Bakhru and Sachin Datta, Judges of the Delhi High Court.

On Saturday 26th August, Doug will be speaking at the ‘International Arbitration in India: Past, Present & Future’ conference, jointly hosted by the Indian International and Domestic Arbitration Centre, the Young Arbitration Lawyers’ Forum and Manipal Law School.
