5th Sep 2022

Atkin Chambers is pleased to announce that Ella Rutter and Caspar Ramsay will join as tenants with effect from Monday 12 September 2022 following the successful completion of their pupillage in Chambers.

Their practices will cover all areas of Atkin Chambers’ members’ core specialisms, including construction and infrastructure, energy, and professional negligence. “We’re delighted that Ella and Caspar have accepted our invitation to join Atkin Chambers as tenants, having successfully completed their pupillage. It is an exciting time to join Chambers with opportunities continuing to grow domestically and internationally, particularly in infrastructure and energy. I am certain that Ella and Caspar will embrace the opportunity and build successful practices, and we wish them every success,” Chantal-Aimée Doerries QC, Head of Chambers commented.

Ella read Law at Oxford and has a Master of Laws in International and European Law from the University of Ghent. In addition to England and Wales, she also has experience of disputes under other systems of law (including Belizean, Korean and Swiss) and is admitted to practice in New York.

Caspar holds a double first in Politics and International Relations and an MPhil in Political Thought and Intellectual History from the University of Cambridge. During his studies, Caspar worked as a guest lecturer at the City Law School, delivering lectures and workshops on mooting skills.
