Atkin Chambers - A leading set of commercial barristers

David Streatfeild-James QC named Construction and Energy Silk of the Year in The Legal 500 UK Awards 2020

Atkin Chambers is pleased to announce that David Streatfeild-James QC has been named Construction and Energy Silk of the Year in The Legal 500 UK Awards 2020.

This is in addition to Chambers & Partners naming David as one of its 25 Stars at the Bar in its 2020 UK Bar Guide.

David Streatfeild-James QC is widely-regarded as a leading advocate in commercial and construction disputes.  He has significant experience of disputes arising in the energy, transport, water and technology sectors. He is also frequently instructed in a broad mix of social infrastructure-related disputes.

His practice spans a wide range of disputes, linked principally by their size and complexity.  As a result, he has appeared in extremely long-running trials and arbitrations (often leading large counsel teams), as well as in appeals before the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.

In addition to advocacy, David’s practice involves significant amounts of advisory work and he accepts appointments as arbitrator under, for example, ICC, UNICTRAL, LCIA, and ad hoc rules.

David is a Bencher of Inner Temple, a Recorder and appointed to sit in the TCC.
