Chantal-Aimée Doerries KC to speak at the inaugural Doha Legal Forum

Chantal-Aimée Doerries KC will speak at the Doha Legal Forum 2026, taking place on 26th and 27th January.

Organised by the Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre, the Forum is themed “Emerging Trends and Future Visions.”

Chantal will speak on the first day, in a session titled “Legal Regulation of Energy Sector: The Future of Energy Sources in Light of Global Trends.” She will be joined by fellow panellists including Khawar Qureshi KC, Head of McNair International; Judge Nehad Alhussban, Justice of the Supreme Court of Jordan and AlAnoud M Al-Mosleh, Head of Research and Policy at Invest Qatar.

The Forum will serve as a platform for participants to highlight the legislative and regulatory frameworks governing vital economic sectors and their role in providing a safe and attractive investment environment. It will also address the latest developments in the legal field—legislative, judicial, and scholarly—under Qatari law and comparative legal systems.
