Atkin Chambers - A leading set of commercial barristers

Atkin Chambers supports the 2019 Latin American Lawyers Exchange Programme

Atkin Chambers is delighted to support the 2019 Latin American Lawyers Exchange Programme run by the Bar Council and the Law Society between 29 April and 17 May 2019.

The Latin American Exchange Programme for young lawyers is now in its sixth year. The programme was extended to Colombian and Mexican lawyers in 2018 and therefore in addition to the Law Society and the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)), the programme is now also supported by the three main voluntary Mexican Bar Associations (Barra Mexicana, Asociacion Nacional de Abogados de Empresa (ANADE) and Illustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados (INCAM)) as well as the chamber of legal services of the National Association of Employers of Colombia (Asociación Nacional de Empresarios de Colombia (ANDI)).

Atkin Chambers supports several similar initiatives that aim to develop links with lawyers in foreign jurisdictions and participates in the Bar Council Training Scheme for Chinese Lawyers and the Bar Council Korean Exchange Programme for young lawyers.
