Atkin Chambers will be sponsoring the Cambridge University Law Society Cuppers Moot again this year.
“We are pleased to continue our support,” commented Marc Lixenberg, “mooting is an important opportunity for aspiring lawyers to hone their advocacy. It remains an important core skill for barristers but is valuable for everyone in their careers.”
The Cuppers Moot is a team moot and there is no need for participants to have prior mooting experience, but teams must come from the same College.
Moot problems can be on any core area of law.
The competition starts on Saturday 9th November 2019 and the final will be held on Tuesday 10th March judged by members and door tenants of Atkin Chambers.
The 2018/19 moot was won by Julia Weiner and Zhen Ning of Churchill College.
