Atkin Chambers is pleased to support the LSE Law Society by hosting its annual Atkin Chambers Moot.
The moot is based on commercial law and following a preliminary round, four finalists progress to the finals, which are held at Atkin Chambers in Gray’s Inn.
The final will be held in Chambers on 11 February 2020.
Members of Atkin Chambers provide the Court of Appeal-style panel of three moot judges. The winners receive a cash prize and the opportunity to take a mini-pupillage in Chambers.
“These competitions are a great way for students to hone the advocacy skills that are an important part of aspiring lawyers’ training and development. All barristers will remember those early competitions as providing great opportunities to find their feet and we are happy to support this competition in order to help the next generation of barristers on their way,” commented David Johnson, barrister at Atkin Chambers and a member of its Pupillage & Recruitment Committee.
