Atkin Chambers awarded Wellbeing at the Bar Certificate of Recognition

30th Jun 2021

Atkin Chambers is delighted to have been awarded the Wellbeing at the Bar Certificate of Recognition by the Bar Council.

“We’re very pleased to have received the Certificate of Recognition that acknowledges the efforts and progress of all involved in Chambers’ approach to wellbeing. The application process and the certificate helps to provide fresh impetus to our programme as we endeavour to expand and improve on it to address the ongoing challenges related to distance working and the post-lockdown return to work in Chambers,” commented Patrick Clarke, Atkin Chambers’ dedicated wellbeing officer.

The Certificate of Recognition is awarded to those chambers that demonstrate a commitment to wellbeing through a policy, programme or initiative. The Bar Council Wellbeing Panel commented:

Atkin Chambers has a plan – and their approach provides a fantastic example of ‘how to support wellbeing in Chambers’ – with a clearly thought through strategy, now being implemented. They deserve our recognition and our congratulations”

The Atkin Chambers case study is published on the Bar Council Wellbeing website here.
