19 June 2023: Andrew Goddard KC to join panel on construction claims under DIFC Law (Changes post the decision in MESC v. Panther)

Andrew Goddard KC will join a webinar panel to discuss construction claims under DIFC Law (Changes post the decision in MESC v. Panther) on Monday 19 June.  The event is organised by Global Arbitration Review and Lexology in association with Masin and MRP Advisory.

The panel will be moderated by Misbah Fazalbhoy from MRP Advisory and Andrew will be joined by MRP Advisory Partner Rishabh Jogani, Rohit Singhal from Masin and Alexander Burrell from 39 Essex.

The DIFC court decision contains a number of interesting points particularly for contractors and employers including:

• A detailed discussion about the notice requirement under FIDIC contracts.
• Contractor arguments such as the prevention principle, principle of good faith, that are generally made in defense to a notice-related objection.
