Andrew Goddard KC and Professor Doug Jones AO to speak at Vinson & Elkins Middle East Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure Conference

Andrew Goddard KC and Professor Doug Jones AO will be speaking at Vinson & Elkins Middle East Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure Conference, taking place on Thursday 17th October in Dubai.

The topic of this year’s conference is ‘Keeping the Faith? An Examination of the Role of Good Faith in International Construction Projects.’

Andrew will speak in a morning panel session on ‘Mid-Project / Execution Stage’ which will focus on live project management. The panel will be chaired by Roberta Downey, Head of International Construction at Vinson & Elkins, and Andrew’s fellow panellists include Sanjay Patel KC, Adam Robb KC and David Brynmor Thomas KC.

In the afternoon, Doug will join a panel of former judges and current arbitrators in a session entitled ‘A Tribunal View – a Behind the Curtain View’. Chaired by James Barrett of Vinson & Elkins, Doug’s fellow panellists include Adrian Cole, Faris Nasrallah and David Brynmor Thomas KC.
