Date: 9 Apr 2020
Time: 8am BST

Address:
Virtual Seminar

Professor Doug Jones AO will be a guest speaker at Hogan Lovells’ virtual Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure seminar entitled “‘Marriages of convenience and being ‘stuck in the middle with you'” on Friday, 4 September 2020 at 3pm Singapore time (8am UK time).

By reference to real (but anonymised) scenarios and case studies from around the world and various industry sectors, including a fictional offshore wind project, the interactive webinar will cover the issues that arise as a result of the modern reality of having to team up with others on major projects, be it through joint ventures, consortia, subcontractors, lenders, local content compliance etc.

Speakers will focus on practical and commercial advice as to how to might best manage and navigate a way through these risks so as to maximise prospects for a successful outcome.

The event finishes with a Q&A with Professor Doug Jones AO, chaired by Kent Phillips, Partner, Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee, Singapore.  In this interactive Q&A session attendees and speakers can ask Professor Jones questions in relation to the topics discussed during the course of the webinar and how the issues that arise can be effectively resolved by arbitration proceedings.

Questions in advance are welcomed.  Delegates are asked to submit their questions when they register.
