Rupert Choat will be presenting at the Construction Law Summer School on ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)’ and ‘Turning Claims into Disputes’.
Rupert will present a session on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and will cover the following topics
- What is ADR
- Why opt for ADR
- What to do to prepare for ADR
Rupert will also be co-presenting a session on ‘Turning Claims into Disputes’ with Adrian Bell, Partner, Co-head of the Infrastructure, Construction and Energy Disputes Group at CMS Cameron McKenna. This session will explore how you succeed with claims for:
- Labour losses;
- Site and head office overheads;
- Interest / financing;
- Delay damages;
- Consequential losses
As well as presenting this session, Rupert will run a workshop based on the presentation where delegates will be split into groups and provided with handouts. Each group will have a dispute resolution expert at hand to help.
The Construction Law Summer School is being hosted by KNect365 (Informa) and will take place from 3-6 September 2019 at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge.
