James Howells QC and Shourav Lahiri will present to members of the Society of Construction Law Singapore on ‘Limitation Periods in Construction Disputes – An International Perspective’ on Wednesday, 28 July 2021 (5pm Singapore, 10am UK).

The webinar will deal with the nature of limitation periods and their potential implications on the viability of various species of claims typically pursued in construction disputes.

James Howells QC and Shourav Lahiri will discuss issues such as:

when various limitation periods begin;
when such periods stop running;
whether limitation periods are suspended when parties invoke (sometimes lengthy) pre-arbitration dispute resolution processes; and
strategies for avoiding problems with limitation.
