Her Honour Frances Kirkham CBE will speak at Salford University on “Pre-empting Construction Disputes” – a seminar hosted by Salford University’s Directorate of Sustainable Built & Natural Environments (DSBNE).
This half day seminar will interest professionals from sectors across industry including construction, law, finance, architecture, property, and estates management. It will address how to avoid going to court for construction disputes from a wide range of perspectives. The speakers will address issues related to the construction regulatory framework and some of the common causes of construction disputes (the traps) and how they might be avoided (the tips), providing examples from their extensive experience.
The seminar will be led by the Honourable Justice Brian Preston, Chief Judge of Land and Environment Court in New South Wales, Australia.
