Atkin Chambers, in alliance with the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago (LATT), held a symposium on construction, infrastructure and commercial law at the Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain on Thursday 12 January 2017.
The event was held to mark the publication of the 13th edition of the premier construction law text, “Hudson’s Building and Engineering Contracts”.
The event was opened by the President of LATT, Reginald Armour S.C. Panel discussions on Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and commercial arbitration as a means of dispute resolution featured a host of distinguished local panellists: The Honourable Mme Justice Pemberton; Gilbert Peterson, S.C. (chairman of TATT); Adrian Byrne (Byrne & Byrne); Robert Cedeno (J.D. Sellier & Co); Jonathan Walker (M. Hamel-Smith & Co); Winston Riley (past president of the JCC); and Afra Raymond (past President of the Institute of Surveyors of Trinidad & Tobago).
