17 April 2023: Professor Doug Jones AO to give keynote at the Hochiminh City International Construction Arbitration Conference 2023

Professor Dough Jones AO will be giving the opening keynote address at the 2023 Hochiminh City International Construction Arbitration Conference on Monday 17 April 2023.

Organised by the Society of Construction Law in Vietnam, the Conference theme, and the theme of Doug’s address, will be “Complex Construction Arbitration”

The Vietnam Society of Construction Law was established in 2021 as an official non-profit organisation representing engineers, lawyers, scientists, managers, operating in the field of construction law or related to construction law in Vietnam.  The society aims to improve knowledge, qualifications and information exchange on construction law, and to propose suggestions to government agencies on legal policies in the construction field, in order to contribute to establishing a stable and sustainable environment for construction activities in Vietnam, contributing to the country’s socio-economic development.

The Society of Construction Law in the UK was formed in 1983 and there are now societies in over 20 countries worldwide.
