Atkin Chambers is committed to supporting the Bar Pro Bono Unit on a regular basis and to the principle of providing free representation in deserving cases.

The Bar Pro Bono Unit, founded in 1996, is a national charity which helps to find pro bono specialist legal assistance from volunteer barristers for those who are unable to pay for legal advice or representation, and are unable to obtain legal aid.

In addition to providing volunteer barristers, Atkin Chambers has since 2004 hosted an annual fundraising concert in support of the Bar Pro Bono Unit, the proceeds of which are all donated to the cause.
